From 66e68a92a0c6ad1224c97577408f610651ff4c61 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Sebastian Andrzej Siewior Date: Wed, 2 Nov 2016 16:45:58 +0100 Subject: [PATCH 041/365] rcu: update: make RCU_EXPEDITE_BOOT default RCU_EXPEDITE_BOOT should speed up the boot process by enforcing synchronize_rcu_expedited() instead of synchronize_rcu() during the boot process. There should be no reason why one does not want this and there is no need worry about real time latency at this point. Therefore make it default.
