Bulging approximately from the 6th layer

Steps to Reproduce

I made some upgrades to my Anycubic I3 Mega Pro:

  1. Self-printed Anycubic i3 Mega X-Carriage [MK4]
  2. Installed BL Touch
  3. Changed all drivers to TMC2208
  4. Followed all instructions exactly

I tested the TMCs in the following configurations, but the result remained the same:

X Y Z E0 E1
1V 1.2 1V 1V 1V
1.15V 1.3V 1.15V 1.15V 1.15V
1.13V 1.22V 1.15V 0.94V 1.15V

Expected behavior: Solid print results

Actual behavior: The auto-leveling works excellently, and the first layer is perfect. After about the sixth layer, a kind of bulge forms, running around the entire print object.

Additional Information

When I updated the printer, I completely disassembled it, cleaned it, re-oiled and greased it, and reassembled it. It seems to me that the Z-axis is not lifting cleanly, but this is just a suspicion. Does anyone have an idea where the problem might be? I am attaching some pictures of the poor print results.

Have you tried 'load fw defaults' and 'save eeprom' from the special menu?

I get similar results on my prints. The first layer is perfect and after the first 2 or so layers it seems like an over extrusion. the rest of the print except the last layer is also good. Any ideas what is wrong?
